Feed It Onward | EPA Partnership

Feed It Onward connects food donors and organizations leading on food waste reduction with communities in need, while reducing the environmental impact of food waste in landfills.

Buy Local is proud to partner with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Feed It Onward initiative. Through our local food recovery efforts, microgreen trays and food scraps that might otherwise become waste are redirected to our local farmer, where they help feed chickens and support the cycle of sustainable agriculture.
